All Real, No Drama
We all love avocados, but let's be honest - they require a fair amount of hassle to properly prep. Peeling, cutting, coring, and slicing is a tad more tricky than we truly want. Wholly Guacamole gifts you all the goodness without the drama of prep—all has been taken care of already, and sealed tight for a long, healthy shelf life.
To capitalize on this insight, we pitched and won the business by introducing a troop of charmingly problematic avocado characters, each one personifying a pain point that avocados are known for - too mushy, too hard, already bruised, too ripe, To support our characters, our design team created set designs, title artwork, and a full redesign of its website to accompany the rebrand of this delicious product line we stack our office kitchen with.
Campaign Launch
To kick off the Campaign, we developed Title Art to introduce our characters and the relatable problems they often find themselves in.
Avocado hand insurance
Every Super Bowl Sunday, 1,000,000+ avocados are eaten. Did you know that each year too, 9,000 people injure their hands when cutting and coring their own avocados?
With this insight, we designed a kitschy tongue-in-cheek campaign for Super Bowl season with an aesthetic dripping in the classic, cliché insurance infomercial stylings of yesteryear — rainbow gradients, sunburst watermarks, random magic sparkles, aggressive drop shadows, and warped text.
It was a designer’s nightmare, but we can’t deny how fun it was to break all the rules on purpose.
high Pressure Technology
Wholly Guacamole uses High Pressure Technology to keep their guacamole packs fresh and long lasting. The brand requested a visual way to explain this process to their customers in an entertaining way, so we built a responsive, interactive wing of their website to educate customers on this novel, unique process.
